Where am I located?
I am a home baker located in the DFW Metroplex. South Arlington/Mansfield to be exact.
Do I bake out of my home?
Yes I do. I am a Texas Cottage Baker operating under the Texas Cottage Food Law, Senate Bill 572
What does it mean to be a Cottage Bakery?
There are rules and regulations that I must follow being a Cottage Baker. My baked goods are made in a home kitchen and is not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or a local health department. Under the law, I am required to have a Food Handler’s card in order to sell my food. You can read more about it here.
Do I deliver? On some occasions, delivery may be arranged for a fee.
Do I ship? No. It’s not permitted under the Cottage Food law.
What are my Prices? Because most of my orders are custom, prices vary.
What if I don’t like Fondant? My fondant is homemade and tastes like a super sweet marshmallow.
Am I allergy friendly? No.
Do I require a deposit? Most orders must be aid in full.
How soon should I book? I limit myself to 3-4 orders per week, so the earlier you book, the better.
Do cakes need refrigeration? Cakes are chilled for best travel, but generally do not require refrigeration.
Do I offer tastings? I offer tastings for a small fee with orders of $400 or more.
When and where is pick up? Pick up time and location is given when your order is placed.
