I am the girl who bakes EVERYTHING and the powerhouse behind Sweet Creations by Erika, a Texas Cottage bakery located in the DFW metroplex (Mansfield to be exact). I’m the confectionery artist, baker, designer, decorator, cleaner, photographer, social media manager, and all around “communicator at large.” I’ve been baking and decorating for over a decade and absolutely LOVE making French macarons. My favorite cake combination is white cake with lemon curd and I don’t eat chocolate (I heard you gasp, LOL). I am a “Sugar Angel” aka baker for Icing Smiles, Inc, which is a charity that provides custom cakes (free of charge) to critically and terminally ill children and their siblings. My semi-claim to fame happened when my desserts were featured in an episode of The Real Housewives of Dallas (I’ve never seen the episode lol). When I’m not in the kitchen, I’m either dreaming of a beach vacation or spending time with my favorite teenaged daughter, Cadence. I can’t wait to bake for you!
